// learn quant finance · build the portfolio · Dubai and the Gulf
Break into quant. From here.
Structured lessons and hands-on projects that take you from the fundamentals to a portfolio quant firms take seriously. Built in the UAE, where resources like this are hard to find.
Four tracks, one path
Each track builds on the last, from the maths every quant role relies on to the systems you'd ship on a desk.
- 01
Probability and statistics
Expectation, distributions, conditioning and estimation: the language every quant role is built on.
- 02
Programming for quant
Python for research and prototyping, then C++ for speed. Clean, tested code you can show.
- 03
Markets and trading
How exchanges, order books, derivatives and market makers actually work.
- 04
Data and machine learning
Time series, backtesting without fooling yourself, and where machine learning helps or hurts.
Build a portfolio that proves it
Reading isn't enough. Each track ends in a project you build yourself and can put in front of an interviewer.

Why we're building this
The Gulf's trading and investment scene is growing fast, but the way into quant finance is still hard to find from here. Most material assumes you're in London or New York, at a target university with a quant society down the hall. QuantDXB is the local resource we wished existed: structured, rigorous, and focused on the work that gets you noticed.
